FELTON - Carolyn Mae Smith, 70, of Felton, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Christian Hospital Hospice Care in Newark. She was born on January 10, 1946 in Sellersville, Pennsylvania to the late John and Arlene Detweiler Smith. Carolyn had been a receptionist for Chesapeake Utilities. She attended the Greensboro Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, James H. Smith; sons, Eric V. Wieder and Aaron Wieder both of Felton; three sisters, Linda K. Carroll and Cheryl G. Thompson of both Easton, Md. and Arlene Fay Tomredle of Carlisle, Pa.; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The funeral service for Carolyn will be at 11 a.m., Monday, June 27, 2016 in Fleegle & Helfenbein Funeral Home, Greensboro. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
