MAGNOLIA - Carolyn Joan Steele Helton passed away, Sunday, December 20, 2020 at home.
Mrs. Helton was born April 20, 1942 in Waltham, Massachusetts to the late Joseph Gordon Steele and Mary Rose Landry Steele.
She retired from Andrews Federal Credit Union in Suitland, Maryland as a Human Resource Manager. Mrs. Helton enjoyed traveling to Maine, going to the beach, and reading, but especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her sister, Lorraine Steele Ramos; and brother, Joseph Raymond Steele.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Robert E. Helton of Magnolia; children, Edward J. LeClair and Kristin LeClair Zurowski; sister, Jeanette Steele Bowlby; and granddaughter, Isabel Rose Zurowski.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the American Red Cross, ASPCA, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Wounded Worrier Project or the Sisters of St. Joseph of Boston.
