CAMDEN - Carolyn A. Meyers passed away on December 10, 2021 at Kent General Hospital. Born in Hartly, Del., she was the daughter of the late Theresa M. (Nacincik) and John F. Dudasik.
Mrs. Meyers was a homemaker. She had worked as a secretary for the family business, George E. Meyers Construction. She had formerly attended First Baptist Church in Dover. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed flower gardening and vegetable gardening. She also enjoyed bird watching and feeding the birds. She liked to go to the casino Friday and Saturday nights to play the penny machines. What gave Mrs. Meyers the most joy was spending time with her family.
Mrs. Meyers was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Meyers, who passed away in 2013. She is survived by her three children, Barbara A. Dyson and her husband Phillip of Brownwood, Texas, George E. Meyers, Jr. of Camden and Sharon K. Densler and her fiancé Scott Hulcher of Camden; her brother, Delmar Dudasik and his wife Joyce of Smyrna; her sister Veronica "Tootsie" Harper of Dover; three grandchildren, Brian Dyson, Shane Dyson and his wife Corrie and Ryan Densler and his wife Abby; and three great grandchildren, Myles Dyson, Cash Dyson and Oliver Densler. In addition to her husband and parents; she was preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Marshall; and by her brother in law, Charlie Harper.
A funeral service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming DE 19934 where there will be a viewing from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will follow in Lakeside Cemetery, Dover.
