Carole Faye Banning

SEAFORD - Carole Faye Banning, of Seaford, passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2010, at her home. She was 70. She was born on Sept. 12, 1939, in Easton, Md., the daughter of the late Gilbert A. and Nora Mae Hastings Banning. She was a graduate of Federalsburg High School, class of 1957. Carole was the former owner of Lucy's Flowers in Federalsburg. She was an avid reader. She is survived by four siblings, Barbara Marine, and her husband C. Melvin of Greenwood, Gerald Banning and his wife, Sue, of Federalsburg, Edward Banning, and his wife of Deana, of Seaford, Janet Brown and her husband, Leon, of Seaford; and 20 nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Ruark; and brother, William David Banning. Graveside memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Hill Crest Cemetery with Rev. Melvin Marine officiating.
