Carol S. Mills, 60 DOVER - Carol S. Mills, of Dover, died Sunday, April 18, 2010, at home. She was 60. Mrs. Mills was born Sept. 19, 1949, in Dover, to the late Cornelia "Toots" Foster. She enjoyed her work with children and the mentally handicapped. Mrs. Mills enjoyed going to the beaches, gardening, and yard sales. She loved going out on the boat with her husband fishing and crabbing in the bay. She also enjoyed vacations and trips with her family but most of all loved just being with her family, friends and grandchildren. Mrs. Mills was a life time member of the Little Creek Methodist Church. Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald and Donald "Duck" Thornley; and her sister, Delores Adams. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Wayne Mills of Dover; son, Herb Mills and his wife Beth of Dover; daughters, Kimberly S. Mills-Dill, and Haley D. Morris and her husband Charles III, all of Dover; three grandchildren, Taylor Dill, Joshua Morris, and Makayla Morris, all of Dover; and her loving and dear step father, John M. Halfen, Sr. of Dover. Memorial services will be 3 p.m., Thursday April 22, 2010, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover, where friends may call one hour prior. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
