Calvin Patrick 'Calboy' Hershberger, 22

CLAYTON - Calvin Patrick "Calboy" Hershberger of Clayton passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2008, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was 22.

Mr. Hershberger was born Feb. 28, 1986, in Dover.

He was a graduate of Lake Forest High School, Felton, class of 2002.

He worked as an apprentice roofer for Roofers Local 30 for the last three years.

Mr. Hershberger was a Denver Broncos fan. He played Pop Warner football for Camden, and Little League baseball for Marydel-Hartly and Camden-Wyoming Moose Teen Club.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jonas and Lydia (Miller) Hershberger; his maternal grandmother, Leah Laughlin, in 1997; and his stepfather, William B. Wagner.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia (Laughlin) Wagner of Clayton, and her friend, Dan Beck; his father, Calvin J. Hershberger, and his wife, Darla, of Felton; a sister, Kelly Hershberger of Harrington; a brother, Kyle Steven Hershberger of Felton; a stepsister, Tiffany Wagner of Dover; a stepbrother, Brian Wagner of Dover; maternal grandfather, Patrick Laughlin of Clayton; three nieces, Hailey Corkell, Kylee Hershberger and Delaney Grim, all of Harrington; his girlfriend, Stephanie Kubico of Dover; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may call two hours earlier.

Burial will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Camden-Wyoming Moose Teen Club, 760 Moose Lodge Road, Wyoming, DE 19934.
