Millsboro - Calvin Lewis Logan died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015, at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes. Born in Dagsboro, he was the son of the late Winford J. Logan and Annie Johnson Logan. Mr. Logan visited St. John 2nd Baptist Church in Millsboro. He was a truck driver. Prior to retiring, he was employed by Lakewood Super Block in Lakewood, N.J. and Anchor Concrete in Brick, N.J. He is survived by: his wife, Joyce E. Logan; three daughters, Denise D. (Joseph) Waples, Stephanie P. (Gregory) Avery and Debra A. Craig; one brother, Randolph Logan; one sister, Hallie Tingle; one uncle, Ernest Hall; three aunts, Agnes Coleman, Ernestine Hall and Evelyn Hall; his mother-in-law, Lucinda (Allen) White; four brothers-in-law, Charles (Bernice) George, Winfred Allen, Rev. Wendell E. (Delphina) Hall, and Gerald (Debra) Allen, Sr.; six sisters-in-law, Edna Logan, Vivian P. King, Gai (Dennis) Moore, Rosalyn (William) Allen-Echols, Lucille Rich, and Carolyn Vickers; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends; a beloved pet, Foxy. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sons, Kenton A. Williams, Sr. and Winford E. Williams; two brothers, John Goffin and James Logan; and four sisters, Lillie Mae Bagwell, Lester Hailey, Cora Johnson, and Lorraine Rue. Mr. Logan will lie in repose on Friday, Dec. 11, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015, from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. John 2nd Baptist Church, 26602 Mt. Joy Road, Millsboro. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Rev. Annie P. Custis will be the Officiant and Rev. Wendell E. Hall will be the Eulogist. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 32112 Vines Creek Road, Dagsboro. A ministry of comfort and dignity is being provided by Lewis N. Watson Funeral Home, P.A. in Salisbury, Md.
