C. Dudley Reed Sr., 67

CHESTERTOWN, Md. - C. Dudley Reed Sr., of Chestertown, died on Jan. 17, 2009, following a brief illness with lung cancer. He was 67. He is survived by two sons, Charles D. Reed Jr. and Roger L. Reed; two sisters, Clara Reed and Linda Joiner; and three grandchildren, Wittney Reed, Lynn Reed, and Reagan Reed. Services will be 1 p.m on Friday at Fellows, Helfenbein, and Newnam Funeral Home, 130 Speer Road Chestertown, where relatives and friends may call on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Friday, one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Rock Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dudley's name to the American Cancer Society, 92 Read's Way STE 205, New Castle, DE 19720.
