Bryan Keith Hitchens

Bryan Keith Hitchens, 47

GUMBORO - Bryan Keith Hitchens, of Gumboro, died Monday, Dec. 26, 2005, in his home. He was 47.

Mr. Hitchens was born Oct. 14, 1958, in Lewes.

He was a cabinetmaker and master carpenter.

Mr. Hitchens attended the Bayshore Community Church, Gumboro. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and served on the board of directors of the Bridgeville Rifle and Pistol Club. He was also an NRA-certified master marksman.

He was preceded in death by his father, James D. Hitchens Sr., in 2000.

He is survived by his mother, Glenda J. Hitchens of Gumboro; two sons, Keith Bryan Hitchens and Kirt Hitchens, both of Gumboro; and three brothers and two sisters-in-law, James and Tammy Hitchens, Barry and Diane Hitchens, and Kevin Hitchens, all of Gumboro.

Services were held in Watson Funeral Home, Millsboro. Pastor Mike Truitt officiated.

Burial was in Westwoods Cemetery, Gumboro.

The family suggests memorial contributions to support the Bridgeville Rifle and Pistol Club, P.O. Box 312, Milford, DE 19963.
