Brian Shouldis passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021, in the Christania Care Hospital, Wilmington.
Brian was born Aug. 18, 1959 in Staten Island, N.Y. He was a military child and lived in many states in his early years. He graduated from Caesar Rodney High School in 1977, where he played Soccer, and lettered in Basketball and Baseball. He loved all sports, he was a true Boston Red Sox fan.
After CR he attended the Univ. of South Carolina, majoring in Art. He was a terrific artist.
His real love was music, he was the lead singer for the Hyde Park band also played and composed music for the band. The band played at many venue's throughout the state, including the very popular June Jam many times. He was loved by many and a friend to everyone, when he made a friend they were a friend for life. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him.
He was predeceased by his sister, Debbie Petrovich; and brother, Greg Shouldis; grandparents and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is survived by his parents, Joan and Ken Shouldis; and nephew, Adam Petrovich; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Viewing will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday May 19, 2021, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden- Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. A 10 a.m., Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Thursday, in Holy Cross Catholic Church, 631 S State St., Dover. Burial will take place in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden.
In Lieu of Flowers contributions may be made to Delaware Hospice Center,100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
