Milford - Bonnie L. Walls passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 19, 2018 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford after battling a long illness which she fought courageously.
She was born on Jan. 28, 1943 in Milford, to the late Arthur and Ella Tucker.
Bonnie worked for her mother, Ella Tucker, at Chandelier Fashions until Mrs. Tucker retired. She then worked at Sears in the appliance department for many years until she joined her husband, Bob, in the family business in 1996, Walls Irrigation.
Bonnie was devoted to her family. She always made sure the family was together to celebrate holidays, birthdays and all special occasions. Her style and fashion sense were like no others and she enjoyed being in the kitchen cooking for her family and friends.
She will be sorely missed by her family and many others. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, her high school sweetheart, Robert E. Walls; her sister, Sandy Bowden; son, Robert "B" Walls, his wife Carol; daughter, Lisa Walls-Griffith and her husband Jimmy; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Schurman (JD Webb), Richard Schurman Jr. "Skipper", Courtney Wilson (Justin Wilson), Hunter Walls (Kelsey Johnson); great-grandchildren, Axle, Giuliana, Ava and Madison; her sister-in-law, Sandy Walls; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave., Milford, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday, May 25, 2018 with a funeral service at 12 p.m. Interment is Milford Community Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in memory of Bonnie made to Ellendale Methodist Church, 603 Main St, Ellendale, DE 19941 or Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
