Bonnie L. Reisinger

BOWERS BEACH - Bonnie L. Reisinger passed away, Monday Sept. 11, 2017 at home.
Mrs. Reisinger was born Aug. 31, 1923 in Carlisle, Pa. to the late Derke G. Roberts and Lois May Lightner Roberts.
She was a loving and faithful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and serving the Lord. Mrs. Reisinger was the director of the Vacation Bible School and the primary Sunday School Teacher for grades 1-3 at West Chester Bible Presbyterian Church. She also enjoyed teaching the women's adult Sunday School class at the Harrington Baptist Church as well as a leader for the Community Bible Study.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Reisinger in 1989; daughter-in-law, Ruth Reisinger; and brother, Derke R. Roberts.
She is survived by her children, Vernon Reisinger of West Chester, Pa., Lois Reisinger of Frederica, Stephan Reisinger (Carol) of West Chester, Pa., David Reisinger (Kathleen) of Milford, Timothy Reisinger (Peggy) and Rebecca Blair (Timothy) all of Bowers Beach; sister, Ruth Sprout of Carlisle, Pa.; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and a first great-great-grandchild due in October.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to The Gideons International Processing Center, P.O. Box 97251, Washington, DC 20090-7251.
