Harrington - Bonnie C. Zelo passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital. Daughter of the late William and Hildegard Creed . Mrs. Zelo was a devoted home maker who loved taking care of her family. She worked in banking most of her life and enjoyed her job. She loved gardening and spending time in her garden. She taught Sunday School for several years and she also loved going to the beach. She was an upbeat person with a huge personality who was very caring and compassionate. She was always worried about everyone else except herself. She loved her animals, her dog Teddy will miss her terribly. Her sweet personality will forever be missed. She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Fred Zelo of Harrington; son, Troy (Linda) Zelo of Felton and brother, William Creed of Long Island, NY. Services will be held Sunday, May 25, 2014 at 3 pm at Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington.Visistion will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to: First State Animal Center and SPCA, 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE 19934.
