Bobby R. Taulbee

LINCOLN - Bobby R. Taulbee, 72, of Lincoln passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at Bayhealth @ Milford Memorial Hospital. He was born in Jess, Kentucky the son of the late Frank and Ruby (Young) Taulbee He served with the Milford Police Dept. for 32 years at the time of his retirement in 2002 as the Chief of Police. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge # 9 and the Milford Senior Center. He was a past member of the Law Dogs Motorcycle Association as well as the I.A.C.P. He also coached Little League and enjoyed playing golf. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Shirley Hayes Taulbee; two children, David Taulbee and wife Carrie and Tracy Grose and husband Lawrence all of Lincoln; one brother, Roger Taulbee and wife, Waveline of Middletown, Ohio; grandchildren, Amanda and Larney Grose, Jaxon Taulbee, Savannah and Hunter Conaway. Funeral Services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, March 21, 2015 in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 19 NW Front St., Milford, where friends may call 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, March 20, 2015. Interment will be in Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Frederica. The family has requested casual attire to be worn to services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Last Call, 723 S. Washington St., Milford, DE 19963.
