Blanche V. Usilton

GREENSBORO, Md. - Blanche V. Usilton, of Greensboro, died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012, at the Caroline Nursing Home, Denton, Md. She was 94. Born in Ridgely, Md., Mrs. Usilton was the daughter of the late Henry Clay Woolford and Anna Greaves Woolford. She had lived most of her life in Queen Anne's County and later Caroline County. Her husband, Archie Lee Usilton Sr., died Dec. 13, 1982. She was also preceded in death by three grandchildren and 11 siblings. Mrs. Usilton was a homemaker. But, she had also worked for Playtex and General Foods in Dover and the Caroline County Board of Education and the Caroline Nursing Home in Denton. Her grandchildren and family were the most important part of her life. She also enjoyed playing cards at which she regularly beat members of her family. Mrs. Usilton is survived by three daughters, Dixie Campasino and her husband Ed of Pahrump, Nev., Joyce Horn and her husband Roger of Hartly, and Victoria Baynard and her husband Bob of Easton, Md.; four sons, Donald Usilton and his wife Sharon of Ocala, Fla., Archie Usilton Jr. of Pahrump, Nev., Robert Usilton and his wife Mary of Goldsboro, Md., and Mike Usilton of Pahrump, Nev.; 14 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great- grandchildren. A graveside service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 25, in the Church Hill Cemetery in Church Hill, Md. For online condolences, please go to moorefuneralhomepa.com.
