HOUSTON - God called Blanche E. Causey, of Houston, on March 18, 2011. Blanche Causey was born on Dec. 12, 1946, in Milford. Blanche had a very strong devotion to God. She was baptized as a young child by the honorable Rev. D.A. Downing of Mt. Enon Baptist Church. During the late 1960's she also became affiliated with A.A. Allen Ministries where she learned of the divine healing and miracles of Christ. During her entire life, she remained faithful to the Lord. Blanche had been employed by Draper King Cole as a supervisor for many years. She also had various housekeeping jobs. Blanche had many hobbies. She enjoyed outdoor activities which included gardening, planting flowers, writing songs, and worshipping the Lord. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Rachael Warren of Slaughter Neck; her brother, Dennis Warren of Slaughter Neck; and her husband, Melvin E. Causey. She is survived by her two sons, Arthur Jackson of Ellendale, and Larry Jackson of Houston; her three daughters, Pearl Jackson of Dagsboro, Grace Jackson of Dover, and Melvina Jackson of Camden; her two daughters-in- law, Carolyn Jackson and Bonnie Jackson; her three sisters, Emma Powell of Milton, Thelma McClain of Milton, Barbra Maddox of Lewis; her brother, David Warren of Slaughter Neck; and two brothers-in-law, Marvin Powell and Collins Maddox. She is also survived by ten grandsons and three granddaughters that brought her great joy. Funeral services will be noon, Saturday, March 26, 2011, at the Mt. Enon Baptist Church, 518 N. Church Street, Milford. Viewing will be two hours prior to the service. Letters of condolence may be sent and guestbook signed at www.benniesmithfuneralhome.com.
