SMRYNA - Blain Keith Newnum, of Smyrna, died on Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011, at Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 46. Mr. Newnum was born on April 22, 1964, in Dover, to the late Curtis and Betty Newnum. Blain worked for the Department of Corrections for many years. He was a member of the Eastern Shore Bluegrass Association which was founded by his late father, Curtis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Nora Newnum. He is survived by two brothers, Curtis Newnum of Florida and Randy Newnum of Arizona; six nieces and nephews; and two great nieces. Services will be private.
