Beverly Saunders, 77 MILFORD - Beverly Saunders, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2009, in Bayhealth Milford Memorial Hospital. She was 77. Mrs. Saunders was born February 15, 1932 in Long Island, N.Y., daughter of the late Harry C. Sr. and Alice (Resseler) Eypel. She was a homemaker and also handled the bookkeeping for her husband's business, H.S. Saunders Jewelers for the many years it was in operation in Milford. Bev had a simple, kind and compassionate nature and an abounding love for animals. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Harry C. Eypel Jr. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Henry S. Saunders; three nieces, Jackie Benton and her husband, Bill of Camden, Jeanine Sala of Stuart, Fla., and Susan Olson and her husband, Gary of Sterling, Va.; and two nephews, Michael McGinnis and his wife, Barbara of Charlotte, Vt., and Will McGinnis and his wife, Renee of Centreville, Va. A service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, December 13, 2009, at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave., Milford, where friends may call one hour prior. Burial will be in the Milford Community Cemetery on Route 113. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to Debbie's Fund, A Friend to Animals, Att: Dee Andrews, 698A N.
