Beulah M. Dixon Penuel

SMYRNA - Beulah M. Dixon Penuel passed away peacefully at her home on Aug. 25, 2018.
She was born in Dover on Feb. 23, 1919, the daughter of the late James and Ida McBride.
She was employed for many years as a secretary, most recently for the Delaware Farm Bureau. She was proud to be a farm wife and was actively involved with all aspects of the farm and with her husband's harness racing career. She truly was a jack-of-all trades.
Beulah enjoyed travelling and loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Albert Dixon; her second husband, Joseph Penuel; and seven brothers and sisters.
She is survived by a daughter, Beronica (Presley) Moore; grandchildren, Myra (Robert) Carey, and Karen Moore; a great-grandson, Robby Carey; and several nieces and nephews.
Services and burial will be private.
