Beulah 'Bea' Brown, 82

DOVER - Beulah "Bea" Brown of Dover passed away Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was 82.

Mrs. Brown was born June 10, 1924, in Wildwood, N.J., daughter of the late Charles Gilbert and Lorella Davidson.

She was a graduate of Hahnemann Hospital, Philadelphia, as a registered nurse and from the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, New York City, with a degree in anesthesia. She worked at the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center for many years and retired from Overlook Hospital, Summit, N.J.

Mrs. Brown enjoyed playing bridge, gardening and traveling. The most important thing in her life was spending time with her family; they were the love of her life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen June Brown.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, David W. Brown of Dover; a son, David W. Brown Jr. of Media, Pa.; a daughter and a son-in-law, Lisa (Brown) and Francis Cutrona of Dover; a brother and a sister-in-law, Gilbert and Betty Davidson of Philadelphia; a sister and a brother-in-law, Gladys and W.C. Angeroth of Stratford, N.J.; a brother-in-law and his spouse, John W. Brown and Jean of Penfield, N.Y.; three grandchildren and a spouse, Gillian and Joseph Fuller, Paige Cutrona and Damon Cutrona; and her great-granddaughter, Lily Autumn Fuller.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford St., Dover, where friends may call one hour earlier.

Burial will be in Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Cold Spring, N.J.
