SMYRNA - Betty W. Robinson went home to Glory on April 15, 2015. She was born on July 5, 1924, to Reba Scott Watson and James Watson. Betty was married to her husband of 62 years, Herman Leon Robinson, who passed in Dec. 2008. Betty was a dedicated member of Centennial United Methodist Church, in Smyrna, serving as a Communion Stewardess, Treasurer, taught Sunday School and was active in the women's organizations. She was a devoted wife and mother and is survived by three daughters, Shirlyn Robinson Stanback (Charles R. Stanback, Jr.), Barbara Robinson Butler and Donna Robinson Scott; a grandmother of three, Shonnese Stanback, Belena Butler and Shinita Scott; a great-grandmother to Nina Rankin and an "adoptive" mom to many, including William Jeffrey Williams and Mary Huff. Service of celebration 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 19, at Centennial U.M.C., 44 E. Mount Vernon St., Smyrna, Del. Viewing from 1-2:00 p.m., with formal home going service to follow with the Rev.
