Betty Louise Holderbaum

Holderbaum, 87 DOVER - Betty Louise Holderbaum, 87, of Dover, passed away Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, at her home. She was born on April 18, 1924, in Conneliville, Pa., to the late Harry and Alice Richter Henry. She was a member of Camden/Wyoming Moose Lodge, and she and her husband "Beans" were very active members of the Camden/Wyoming Little League. She drove a school bus for CR School District for many years. She was a server at the Dover Modern Maturity Center and worked at the Delaware State News. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Raymond A. "Beans" Holderbaum, 1997; brothers, William Henry and Harold Henry; and sisters, Helen Stickel, and Margaret Bertolina. She is survived by son, Rodney Holderbaum and daughter-in-law Linda Holderbaum, both of Dover; son, Randy Holderbaum of Bethany Beach; son and his wife, Rex Holderbaum and Lillian Killen of Willow Grove; daughter and her late husband, Rita and Kenneth R. Smith of Magnolia; grandchildren, Scott Holderbaum, Michelle Baldwin, Kristen Holderbaum, and Holly Holderbaum, Justin Holderbaum, Eyvind Marker, and Robert Marker; and eight great-grandchildren. A gathering of family and friends will be held Feb. 8, 2012, from 5 to 7 p.m. in Trader Funeral Home, 12 Lotus Street, Dover. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to American Heart Association, 200 Continental Drive, Suite 101, Newark, DE 19713; and/or Kent County SPCA, P.O. Box 224, Dover, DE 19903.
