Betty Lou Mitchell

FELTON - Betty Lou Mitchell, of Felton, passed away Friday, Oct. 15, 2010, in Greensboro, Md. She was 56. Betty Lou was born May 31,1954 in Greensboro, Md., to Wilmer and Marjorie Ann Hanley Mitchell. She attended school in Caroline County, Md., and graduated from North Caroline High School. Ms. Mitchell worked as a shipping and receiving clerk at Black and Decker in Easton, at Mulholland & Harper, Boaters World and at Medifast, Inc. of Ridgely. She was a security guard at the Circuit Court of Denton, Md., and at the Harrington State Fairgrounds. When she was younger, she enjoyed playing softball. She enjoyed being with her friends and family. She is preceded in death by her brother, Brian K. Mitchell. She is survived by her father, Wilmer; her mother, Marjorie, of Greensboro; sister, Wilma Ann Buckle and her husband Benedict "Buck" Jr. of Goldsboro; and a brother Wilmer Lee "Joe" Mitchell of Greensboro. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010, at Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, 106 W. Sunset Ave, Greensboro, MD., from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Services will be held at Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Greensboro Cemetery, Greensboro, Md.
