DOVER - Betty Lou Chippie was born on Jan. 20, 1933 in Honesdale, Pa. to Ray N. Wood and Ella Holgate. She passed away on Dec. 23, 2017. Betty was a loving wife, mom and grammy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-mother, Lillian Wood; her brother, Leslie Wood; her sisters, Muriel Osborn, Lorna Decker, and Shirley Moss.
She is survived by her husband, John; her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and James Wright; her granddaughters, Amy Clark and her husband Paul, Amber Coverdale and her husband Mike; two sisters, Barbara Medland and Patricia Avery and her husband Donald. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
