Betty Jean (Mitchell) Tull of Greenwood, DE passed unexpectedly on Sunday, August 24, 2025 in Seaford, DE following recent surgery.
Born in Easton, MD on August 1, 1961, she grew up in the Federalsburg area and was the daughter of the late Ralph and Phyllis (Beauchamp) Mitchell.
Betty Jean worked for many years at Wilmington University in the registrars office.
Left to mourn Betty Jean are her husband Mark Tull; her son Jimmy Pollard (Katie); her grandson James Pollard; her brothers and sisters Lewis Mitchell, Di Ann Short, Robert Mitchell, Jaye Clough, Ruth Smith and Keith Mitchell; her nieces and nephews; and her many friends from over the years.
A funeral service will be held at 12pm on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg, MD. A visitation will take place the same day one hour prior to the start of the service. Burial will be private at a later date.
