Betty J. Perkins

DOVER - Betty J. Perkins, 86, passed away Feb. 2, 2011, in the home of her daughter surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 18, 1924, in Indianapolis, Ind., daughter of the late Frank and Bertha (Fischer) Williams. Betty enjoyed life as a homemaker. Her hobbies included shopping, sewing and music. She was a member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church. She is survived by a daughter, Tina Newton and son-in-law Fred Mujica of Frederica; son, Randy Perkins and daughter-in-law Syndy of Bean Blossom, Ind.; granddaughters, Tamara Lang and her husband Larry of Dover, and Amy Perkins of Bean Blossom, Ind.; grandson, Adam Cummings of California; great-grandchildren, Kathryne Lang, Issybella Lang and Nathanyl Lang; and a great-granddog, Boris Lang. A celebration of her life will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 19, in the activity room at Luther Village, 101 Babb Dr., Dover. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, 425 N. DuPont Hwy., Dover, DE 19901. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
