Betty Belle Johnson

DOVER - Betty Belle (Webb) Johnson, 85, of Dover passed away on January 17, 2015 at Bay Health surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Johnson was born December 21, 1929 in Seaford, Delaware. She enjoyed shopping and going to the Rehoboth Boardwalk. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren. Family meant the world to her. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by the love of her life, Clarence "Johnny" Johnson, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, James F. Webb and Sarah (Sadie) Hastings; and by her brothers, Burton Webb and Ira Webb; by her sister, Eleanor Parker; and by her nephew, Bruce Jackson. Mrs. Johnson leaves behind two sons, Johnny C. Johnson and his wife Janet and Timothy S. Johnson and his wife Jeannie; three grandsons, Michael Johnson, Wesley Johnson and Matthew Johnson; four granddaughters, Lindsay Johnson, Kelly Johnson, Jennifer Carrere and Robin Galloway; 12 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. She is also survived by six sister in laws, Marguerite Webb, Lula Webb, Jeannie Milligan, Isabelle Adkins, Ann Wainewright and Betty Mitchell; two brother in laws, Roland Johnson and James Johnson; special nieces, Debbie Devine, Sue Killen, Cathy Mundorf, Gail Johnson, Brenda Hearn and Patsy Banks; nephew, James Webb; and lifelong friends, Tom and Glory Windham, Shirley Rhodes and Louise Berry. A funeral service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE 19934. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden. Online condolences may be made via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
