ELLENDALE - Betty Ann Clark passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2012. Mrs. Clark was the daughter of the late Douglas and Ellen (Sockrider) Rogers. She was a lifetime member of the Ellendale Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary and the Ellendale United Methodist church, and the United Methodist Women. She also enjoyed bowling as part of L.D. Caulk's team. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl E. Clark Jr., in 2010. Mrs. Clark is survived by her son, Edward Clark and his wife Shirley, and their children Wade, Chad and Annette; her daughter, Patricia Shannon and her husband Brian and their daughter Pamela, and her three children Christopher, Eric and Samantha; and a sister, Golda Pearl Matthews. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2012, in the Chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home 119 NW Front St., Milford. Where, friends may call after 12 p.m. Interment will be in Ellendale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ellendale United Methodist Church 603 East Main St., Ellendale, DE 19941.
