Bessie Virginia Scott, 89 EASTON, Md. - Bessie Virginia Scott, 89, of Easton, formerly of Chestertown, died Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, at The Pines, Easton. She was born on Nov. 8, 1920, in Delmar, Md., to the late Charles and Cora Riley. She is survived by her son, Albert Scott and wife Ginger of Cordova; daughter-in-law, Charlotte Scott of Easton; ten grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Scott in 1964; two sons, Eugene "Scotty" Scott, and Howard "Blinky" Scott; and one grandson, Billy Scott. Services will be 2 p.m., Monday, Dec. 21, at Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, Greensboro, where friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Interment will be in Greensboro Cemetery.
