Bertha Mae Elborn

Bertha Mae Elborn, 77

HURLOCK, Md. - Bertha Mae Elborn of Hurlock, formerly of Queenstown, died Monday, Sept. 24, 2007, in Ruxton Health of Denton. She was 77.

She was born Aug. 29, 1930, in Stevensville, to the late Willie Earl and Bertha Mae (Roe) Elburn.

Mrs. Elborn was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, William Thomas Elborn Sr., in 1988; and 14 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by two sons, Davy Elborn Sr. of Hurlock, and William Elborn Jr. of Denton; a daughter, Cindy Elborn of Frederica; a brother, John Elburn of Centreville; two sisters, Pearl Hope of Centreville, and Elizabeth Holmes of Bear; 11 grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. today in Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, Greensboro.

Interment will be in Chesterfield Cemetery, Centreville.
