MAGNOLIA - Bert Enslen passed away peacefully at home on Mar. 30, 2016. Bert was preceded in death by his parents, George and Constance Enslen. Also, preceded by his wife of 18 years, Carolyn Enslen. When Bert was younger he was a horseman. For many years he was known for selling autos on the corner in Harrington at 3-D Auto Sales. He enjoyed the challenge of making the impossible happen. And most of the time, he could make it happen. Bert is survived by one daughter, Patricia Martin (Chuck); two grandchildren, Cam and Jessica; and one great grandson, Robert Jaxon; three stepchildren, Jennifer Delauriers and her two children of Harrington, Diana Sanchez and her two children of Felton, Michael McCormick (Rebecca) and his two children. Bert and Carolyn also raised one granddaughter, Tifany Pendexter from infancy just as if she was their child. Also surviving are four siblings, Phyllis Racz of Dover, Bruce Enslen (Jean) of Felton, Harvey Ahlstrom of Little Heaven and Lawrence Ahlsrom of New Mexico. Bert is also survived by his best friend, Diane Poore. Bert was a friend to many. No matter when you called on him he was always there to help you, never turning anyone away.
