MILFORD - Bernadine M. McCarthy, of Milford, formerly of Kenton and Slaughter Beach, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving husband Daniel and her sister-in-law Candace Hulse on Friday, June 5, 2015 at the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. Bernadine was a homemaker and was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. Her whole life revolved around her family. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Daniel T. McCarthy SMSGT Retired; one son, Eugene Clark; one daughter, Edith Menchino; three grandchildren, Daniel Clark, Cory Clark and Michelle Watson; and a nephew, John McLean. A Celebration of Bernadine's Life will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2015 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford where friends may call from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Entombment will be private at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
