SEAFORD - Becky Absher Reed passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at Delaware Hospice of Milford, after a long battle with Breast Cancer.
Mrs. Reed was born on March 8, 1967 - at Nanticoke Memorial, to Gail and Ira Absher. Mrs. Becky Reed was a lovingly devoted and cherished wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and best friend. All who knew her, loved her. She enjoyed going to her favorite restaurants, travel, reading, Hallmark Christmas movies, country music, and taking trips to her favorite place, Tennessee. She especially loved Dollywood, and Christmas was her favorite time of the year.
Becky will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Robert Reed; and her loving son, Gregory Reed, and his girlfriend, Megan, of Seaford; her loving parents, Gail and Ira Absher, of Bridgeville; two brothers and their spouses, Jamie Absher (Crystal), Jeff Absher (Christine); sister, Jane Absher Schrock (Dan); sister-cousin, Debbie Cooper (Alton), all of Seaford; sister in law, Grace Derrickson (Jeff), of Hockessin; and brother in law, Michael Reed, of Bridgeville.
Please come join our Family Memorial Service to help us celebrate Becky's life - which will be announced at a later date. In lieu of gifts or flowers, please send all donations to Delaware Hospice of Milford. Thank you for all of your love and kindness.
