DOVER, DE - Beatrice Seeney passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Kent General Hospital.
She was born July 18, 1941, in Dover, Delaware, to the late Raymond Ridgeway and Georganna Mosley.
Mrs. Seeney grew up in Dover, she was a homemaker for many years until finding employment with Capitol Cleaners in Dover. Soon after, she was hired to work for the Capitol School District, where she worked for 21 years. She attended Immanuel Union United Methodist Church of Cheswold and was an active member of the Forest Grove Seventh Day Adventist Church. Mrs. Seeney loved her family, crafting, word games, and she enjoyed baseball, especially when her kids played. She cherished the time spent with her kids and her grandchildren, they meant the world to her.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her son, Wilson Seeney, Jr.
Mrs. Seeney is survived by loving husband of 63 years, Wilson E. Seeney, Sr. of Dover, DE; her children, Don Seeney (Eileen) of Dover, DE, Tammy Reynolds (Jacob) of Dover, DE, and Michelle Todd of Dover, DE; her sister, Ginger Durham (Marshall) of Dover, DE; nine grandchildren, Jessica, Wilson III, Nicholas, Sami, Craig, Buddy, Justin, Jaimy, and Autumn; as well as thirteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 1145 E. Lebanon Road, Dover, DE. Friends may visit two hours prior, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Interment will be held at Forest Grove Seventh Day Adventist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to: Forest Grove Seventh Day Adventist Church or attended Immanuel Union United Methodist Church.
