Beatrice Phyllis Daniels

BRIDGEVILLE - Beatrice Phyllis Daniels, 69, passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2012, at Kent General Hospital in Dover. Born in Pikeville, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Frank Daniels and Jossie Marie Stevens Daniels. Beatrice worked as a waitress and bar tender for the Village Inn in Little Creek and retired from The Buttery in Lewes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by nine siblings, Alma Moeller, Helen Devlin, Ruth V. McClain, Ersie M. Reynolds, William R. "Buddy" Daniels, Franklin D. Daniels, Frank Daniels, Jr., and two infants. She is survived by a daughter, Alane S. Alcantra of Bridgeville; a son, Melvin Frank Mayhorn and his wife, Stephanie; two grandchildren; a brother, John Daniels and his wife, Geneva of Felton; a sister, Ellen Glanden of Willow Grove; four loving pets, "Mister Wilson", "Maggie", "Jack" and "Ruby". Following cremation there are no formal services planned by the family. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home, PA, 501 Snow Hill Road, Salisbury, MD 21804.
