Beatrice I. Caple

DOVER - Beatrice I. Caple, of Dover, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010, at home. She was 91. Beatrice was born on Nov. 1, 1918, in Marshfield, Wis., daughter of the late John and Rose Fahey. She worked as a bookkeeper for Ray Book until 1990. Beatrice enjoyed sewing, baking and playing bingo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. Ralph Caple; and a daughter, Jacqueline B. Nuss. Beatrice is survived by two sons, Rev. Ronald G. Caple his wife Patricia of Columbus, N.C., and Paul Caple and his fiance Amy M. Wells, both of Kenton; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Services will be 11 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 29, at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may gather one hour earlier. Burial will follow in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Memorial Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
