BRIDGEVILLE - Barry L. "Buster" Kingsbury Jr. of Bridgeville died suddenly Sunday, Feb. 18, 2007, in Gumboro. He was 27.
Mr. Kingsbury was manager of the Seaford cigarette outlet.
He was an avid outdoorsman who particularly enjoyed waterfowl hunting and fishing. He liked spending time with his family and friends.
His grandfather, Thomas T. Roddey Jr., preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving companion of more than seven years, Cathie Ferara and her family; his mother, Kathy Roddey of Seaford; his sister, Audra Kingsbury of Seaford; his stepdad, Mark Hardesty and his wife, Lauren and brother Trevor, all of Bethel; his grandmother, Shirley Merritt and her husband, Paul of Seaford; his aunt and uncle, Margie and Kirk Willey and cousins Brandon and Chad, his aunt and uncle Joan and Charles Hardesty and cousin Cole, all of Seaford; his father, Barry L. Kingsbury Sr. and his wife, Paige of Barclay, Md.; and his paternal grandparents, Dr. Robert Kingsbury and his wife, Mildred "Polly" of Crumpton, Md.
He was liked by all who met him and he will be missed by countless friends and family.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N. Shipley St., Seaford.
Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Seaford.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Ducks Unlimited, P.O. Box 357, Seaford, DE 19973.
