MILFORD - Barry Darnell Jones was born in Milford on August 7, 1955 to James and Joyce Jones. The sunset for Barry on Tuesday, Jan., 25, 2011. Barry spent his early education at the Ellendale Elementary School. Then attended Milford School District until he graduated from Milford Senior High School in 1973. He then attended and graduated from The Computer Learning Center in Va. He then started his career in computers at the Eastman Kodak Co. in Rochester, N.Y. until he retired in the early 90's. In 1981 Barry was united in marriage to Cheryl Mulkey, of this union he was blessed with a son and a daughter. Barry grew up in church at Mt. Zion A.M.E. in Ellendale and he later attended Harvest For The World Ministries in Ellendale. Barry loved sports, music and family, especially his daughter. Barry was preceded in death by his nephew Evan Lee Jones. Barry leaves to cherish his memories his parents, James and Joyce Jones of Ellendale; his daughter Selina Jones of Rochester, N.Y.; son Venion Mulkey of Rochester, N.Y.; sister, Wanda Jones of Milton; and two brothers, Terry (Michelle) Jones of Fayetteville, N.C. and Gregory (Patricia) Jones of Seaford. He also leaves four grandchildren, one niece, four nephews, for grand-nephews and several aunts, uncles and a host of cousins and friends. Services will be 11 a.m., Monday, Jan. 31, 2011, at Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church in Ellendale, with a viewing two hours prior. Interment will be at the church cemetery. Ministry of Comfort provided by McPherson Funeral Services.
