Barbara Ruth Kimble, 46

CHESTERTOWN, Md. - Barbara Ruth Kimble of Chestertown died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008, at the Chester River Hospital Center, Chestertown. She was 46.

She was born March 25, 1961, in Chestertown, the daughter of the late Richard Kimble and Virginia (Lecates) Kimble.

Mrs. Kimble worked for the Baltimore Sun as a paper carrier for many years before becoming disabled.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She enjoyed playing Scrabble, computers and loved animals.

She is survived by one sister, Anna Hougentogler of Chestertown; two brothers, Richard Kimble Jr. of Virginia Beach, Va., and Jeff Kimble and wife Heidi of Ridgely; two nieces, Melony Kimble of Severna Park and Emily Kimble of Ridgely; six nephews, Joseph Cooper of Ridgeley, Thomas Kimble of Ridgeley, David Kimble of Ridgeley, Nathan Yell of Massachusetts, Robert F.R. Geyer Jr. of Chestertown and Zachary A. Geyer of Chestertown; and numerous other family members.

A visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today in the Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home, 130 Speer Road, Chestertown.

A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Chester Cemetery.
