MAGNOLIA - Barbara P. Roberts died May 20, 2018. Born in Kulpmont, Pa. to Domminick and Mary Motello Manello.
Mrs. Roberts had worked as a Book keeper for most of her adult life serving at the Farmers Bank and later with the State of Delaware. She had been a faithful member of Holy Cross Church and had served in the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion, Walter L Fox Post and had been a member of the Ladies of the Elks in Dover. In her quieter moments she enjoyed the company of her family and friends and could often be found cooking. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her two sisters and two brothers. She leaves her dedicated husband of 64 years, Kenneth A. Roberts of Magnolia; her sons, Michael K. and wife Barbara Roberts of Magnolia and Glenn E. and wife Cynthia Roberts of Spring City, Pa. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday May 25, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, 631 S. State St. Dover where friends may call starting at 9:15 a.m. Entombment will take place at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro. Condolences may be made via www.ambruso.com.
