GREENWOOD - Barbara Lee Coady, of Greenwood, died Monday, Feb. 16, 2009, in the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. She was 68. Born in Andersontown near Denton, Md., Mrs. Coady was the daughter of the late John Emory Breeding and Helen Katherine Bowen Breeding. For 32 years, Mrs. Coady owned and operated Farmer Bill's Market with her husband, William J. Coady, Sr. of Greenwood. She was an avid gardener who loved to watch the birds as they gathered in her yard. In addition to being a lot of fun to be around, she was a terrific and loyal Washington Red Skins fan. But, above all and most of all, she loved her family dearly as they loved her dearly. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Coady is survived by one son, William J. Coady Jr. of Greenwood; and four daughters, Carol Hayes and her husband Steve of Greenwood, Lisa Coady of Greenwood, Jeanette Coady of Greenwood, and Marianna Sanger of Greenwood; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren with a great-granddaughter on the way. She is also survived by her brother, Robert Breeding of Denton; and three sisters, Charlotte Tarr of Greenwood, Gail Bilbrough of Denton, and Bonnie Ellwanger of Greenwood. She was preceded in death by one brother, Gerald Breeding. A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 S. Second St. in Denton. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home from 6 until 7 before the service. The interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests sending donations to the DE Hospice Center, 100 Patriot's Way, Milford, DE 19963.
