Ava Michelle Eastman, 2 LAUREL - Ava Michelle Eastman, of Laurel, died on Tuesday, June 29, 2010. She was 2. Little Ava liked to play dress up and play with her older brother. When she dressed up, she would carry her purse with her toy cell phone around and play with make up. She also loved to play hide and seek with her daddy. Sponge Bob and Dora were her favorite cartoon characters, and she loved her Minnie Mouse doll. She was a sweet and adorable little princess with long eyelashes, and a big attitude. She would not allow anyone to pick on her big brother. She was always active and on the go, very smart, and liked to dance. She went nowhere without her favorite blanket. She made an impact on everyone she came in contact with, and her presence and big smile will forever be missed. In addition to parents, Michael and Nicole Eastman of Harrington, and Jennifer M. Segar of Laurel, she is survived by her brother, Tyler Hill of Laurel; maternal grandparents, Robin and Fred Bullock Jr. of Bridgeville; paternal grandparents, Sheila Squier and Scott Eastman of Seaford, Sharon and Paul Spencer of Frederica, Randy and Janice Dill of Felton; paternal great-grandparents, Mary Lou and Irwin Bass Jr. of Viola, and Sandra Talley of Bridgeville; great-great-grandmother, Anna Marie Eastman of Clearwater, Fla.; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Services will be 1 p.m., Monday July 5, 2010, in Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 S. DuPont Hwy., Harrington, where a visitation will be two hours prior. Interment will be in Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Melvin Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
