Audrey O. Wells

Audrey O. Wells, 80 DOVER - Audrey O. Wells, 80, of Dover, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010, at Silverlake Nursing Center, Dover. She was born on June 10, 1929, in Abbotsford, Wis., to the late John and Anna Peikert Olson. On Sept. 10, 1972, she was united in marriage to the late Ernest J. Wells. In addition to her parents and late husband, she was preceded in death by her step father, John Emil Wenzel; her first husband, Frank Galante; her second husband, Donald Herbert; her brothers, Clarence and Norman Olsen; and sisters, Carolina Ulrich, Christina Ulrich, Helen Weise, Adeline Hopper, and Lorraine Cronin. She is survived by daughter, Carol Galante of Bridgeville; daughter and her husband, Cheryl and Dennis Garrett of Magnolia; sister, Regina Figgs of Seaford; grandson and his wife, Patrick and Jonell Garrett of Magnolia; grandson and his wife, Timothy and Lindie Garrett of Houston; and great-grandchildren, Ethan, Jacob, Luke, Aiden, and Jackson. Remembrance Services will be 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 8, at Trader Funeral Home in Dover. Burial will be private at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 12, at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear.
