Audrey I. Latsha

DOVER - Audrey I Latsha passed away Thursday October 30, 2014 at home. Mrs. Latsha was born August 7, 1929 in Cambridge, Md. to the late Cecil and Ruzzie Robbins. She had worked at the Maryland State Hospital for the Mentally Ill, and for a short time was a driver and dispatcher the taxi service she and her husband owned, Brambles Taxi Service in Dover, she also worked at Coty's perfumes in Dover, and the worked for 29 years for International Laytex Company, she retired in 1985 and became a caregiver caring personally for many people in their homes, which she was still doing up till a few weeks ago. Mrs. Latsha enjoyed doing puzzles especially crossword puzzles, crocheting, crafts, making wreaths and baskets, listening to old hymns and gospel music. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Latsha in 2002 and her daughter, Diane E. Eames in 2009. She is survived by her son, Clifford Bramble, Jr. and his wife Ruth of Felton; daughters, Carla Russum and her husband John of Dover, Angela Myers and her husband Brian of Worton, Md.; brother, Cecil "Buck" Robbins and his wife Shirley of Cambridge, Md.; sister, Faye Brohawn and her husband Jimmy of Cambridge, Md.; ten grandchildren, one of which was her constant companion, Michael Johnson; nineteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Monday, November 3, 2014 at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way #205, New Castle, DE 19720.
