Ashley Dianne Bassett (Cloak) passed away suddenly at home, Saturday, February 27, 2021. She was 33.
Born in Dover, Delaware, June 2, 1987 Ashley grew up in the Smyrna/Hartly area. She loved watching her beloved Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends especially her children.
She was preceded in death by both her parents, Mark G. Morris, Sr. and Eugenia Ebling and grandparents, William H. Cloak, Jr. and Regina M. Cloak, William G. and Ethel Morris and aunt Terry Cloak.
Ashley is survived by her sons, Eddie, Nate and Tony Bassett; brothers, Mark G. Morris (Yaschi) of Hartly, David J. Cloak (Brittany) of Dover, William Fanks of Bridgeville; sister, Erin N. Morris (Jeremy) of Dover; step-mother, Melissa J. Morris Powell of Dover; uncle, William H. Cloak, III (Crystal); uncle, Eddie Cloak (Shantel); uncle William J. Morris (Jennifer) of Hartly; aunt Alice Stevens (Barry) of Ridgely, Md.; aunt Lillian Morris of Kenton; grandmother Linda Ann Powell (Harry) of Golts, Md. and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 1145 E Lebanon Rd (Rt10) Dover. Friends may visit from 2 p.m.-3 p.m. prior to services.
Funeral services will be livestreamed for those who cannot be in attendance on https://www.facebook.com/torbertfuneralchapels.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford St., Dover, DE 19904, to help defray funeral expenses.
