Arthur James Fosque

Arthur James Fosque, 86

MILLSBORO - Arthur James Fosque, of Millsboro, passed away on Monday, Feb. 11, 2008, in Green Valley Terrace, Millsboro. He was 86.

Mr. Fosque was born April 13, 1921, in Accomac, Va., to the late Robert and Mary Satchell Fosque.

He worked for Townsend's, Millsboro, for 23 years, retiring from the maintenance department as a janitor.

Mr. Fosque loved going to the beach and swimming; he also loved race cars and taking care of his own cars.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Arinthia Savage Fosque; four sons, Leon Fosque of Millsboro, Arthur Fosque Jr. of Frankford, Richard T. Fosque of Millsboro, and Charlie E. Fosque of Selbyville; two daughters, Shirley M. Jolley of Georgetown, and Georgia A. Coverdale of Harrington; 11 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday in the St. John 2nd Baptist Church Cemetery, Mt. Joy Road, Millsboro.

Friends may call from noon-1 p.m. Friday in the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro.
