CHESTERTOWN, Md. - Arthur Benjamin Fisher of Chestertown departed this life Aug. 19, 2007, in Chesteriver Hospital, Chestertown.
He was born Feb. 27, 1954, in Easton, the son of Harvey Fisher and Catherine Hutchins.
"Peewee," as he was affectionately known had a great sense of humor, a willing smile and loved to be with family and friends.
He attended school at Queen Anne"s County High school and was employed by Chesapeake Burial for the last four years.
Prior to working for Chesapeake Burial, "Peewee" was employed with Tingle"s Concrete for many years.
He is preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Hutchins and Welcha Burke; and two brothers, Harvey Fisher and Chuck Fisher.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Helen Fisher of Chestertown, they were united in holy matrimony on June 10, 1978; his mother and father, Catherine Hutchins and Harvey Fisher, both of Queenstown; one sister, Patricia Fisher of Centerville; two brothers, Raymond Anderson of Crisfield, and James Fisher of Queenstown; seven sisters-in-law, Ruth Fisher, Frances Jacobs, Julia Demby, Elaine King, Dorothy Parham, Cynthia Anderson and Ruth Hynson; four brothers-in-law, Louis Parham, James Hynson, Roy Burke, Jessie King and Ronald Demby; two godsons, Mark Berry and James Smith; and a host of friends, cousins, nephews, nieces, neighbors, aunts and uncles.
Viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in New Life U.M Church in Centerville.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at New Life U.M. Church in Centerville, where friends may view two hours prior.
Burial will be in John Wesley Memorial Church Cemetery in Carmichael.
