MILFORD - On April 28, 2021, Arlene C. Walls peacefully went home to be with the Lord.
She was born on January 13, 1934 in Lebanon, DE to the late George and Emily Cohee.
Arlene worked as an Executive Secretary at General Foods and Playtex for many years.
She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution Chapter John Abston and The Red Hat Mommas of Millsboro. Arlene was a familiar face at many of the Combined Eastern Shore Horse Shows.
Mrs. Walls was very active in 4H in the 1960's and served on the Delaware 4H Horse Advisory Board.
She enjoyed traveling to Mexico, Spain, and Thailand, and was known for her great cooking. She also served as a volunteer at several hospitals in Delaware, Florida and Texas.
Arlene was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Roland Walls.
She is survived by her daughter, Renee Anderson and her husband Roy, of Milford; and her son, George Scott Carey and his wife Mary, of Dover. She is survived by four grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave., Milford, on Wednesday May 12, 2021 at 11 a.m. with the family receiving visitors at 10 a.m.
