Antoinette "Annie Henry" White, 41

DOVER - Antoinette "Annie Henry" White, also know as Toni, was called home by God"s Grace Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007, after a short illness. She was 41.

Annie was born Oct. 18, 1965, daughter of Lucille Henry and the late James Henry, in Kent General Hospital, Dover.

She obtained her education in the Smyrna School District, graduating from Smyrna High School in 1984.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to William A. White of Dover on Dec. 6, 1986. From this marriage of 21 years, they were blessed with two loving sons.

Annie was also overjoyed to be expecting her first grandchild in January 2008.

During the majority of her career in various customer service positions, Annie had the opportunity to meet many people. She touched people with her easy conversation, gentle personality, sense of humor and infectious laugh.

Annie was preceded in death by her father, James Henry; her maternal grandmother, Beatrice Butcher; and her paternal grandmother, Mary Etta Henry.

Annie leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband, William A. White of Dover; two sons, Harrison Lee White of Smyrna and William Jamier White of Milford; her loving mother, Lucille Henry of Smyrna; one brother, Dwayne Chandler of Middletown; three sisters, Mechelle Gassaway of New Castle, Gloria Henry and Yvonne Henry-Whaley and her husband, Shelton, all of Smyrna; her paternal grandfather, Arnold Butcher of Smyrna; her mother-in-law, Victoria White; one brother-in-law, Keith White and his wife, Joanne of Dover; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Services will be 6 p.m. Thursday at Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Dover, with a viewing two hours prior. Burial will be private.
