FELTON - Anthony J. Bosco, of Felton, passed away Friday, Sept. 12, 2008, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 88.
Mr. Bosco was a veteran of World War II, serving in C Company, 778 Tank Battalion of the U.S. Army. He worked in sales for Diamond Motor Sports and the last 25 years of employment was in the insurance industry, a principal for the Bosco Insurance Agency before his retirement in 1997. Mr. Bosco is survived by his wife of 37 years, Joanne C. Bosco; as well as five children, Judy Dillinger, Anthony James Bosco, Michael Brittingham, Robert Bosco, Patricia Bosco; five step-children, Paul Watkins, John Watkins, James Watkins, Matthew Watkins, and Mark Watkins. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Burial will be private in the Delaware Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Bear. Family and friends are invited to gather for a celebration of his life 1 p.m. Oct. 4, in the home of James Watkins, Magnolia.
